I am a Ph.D. student in Statistics at Columbia University, under the supervision of David Blei. Before that, I received B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from Rice University, working with Daniel Kowal.

I work on the theory and methods for large-scale probabilistic inference. See my papers.

My recent interests include:

  • variational inference and optimal transport;
  • scaling and generalizing empirical Bayes;
  • reliable causal inference from machine learning models.
